北京时间5月30日，本赛季的欧冠决赛在巴黎圣日耳曼和阿森纳之间打响，本场比赛首发出场的PSG队长马尔基尼奥斯也就此创造了法国俱乐部球员在欧冠中的一项纪录。
根据Stats Foot的统计，在此前已经代表巴黎圣日耳曼参加过2020年和2025年欧冠决赛的情况下，马尔基尼奥斯也就此成为了足坛历史上首位代表一家法国俱乐部参加过三届欧冠决赛的球员。
