北京时间5月27日，据媒体人“麦穗丰”报道，2026年CBA选秀大会初步定在7月26日进行，地点待定。
5月22日，在2026年CBA选秀大会乐透抽签仪式中，四川男篮抽到状元签，江苏男篮和天津男篮分获榜眼签和探花签。
这是历史第一次抽签前三名结果完全按照常规赛排名后三名被抽出。
自2020年引入乐透抽签开始，过去6年拿到状元签的球队分别是：上海、福建、同曦、宁波、山东、福建。
