记者从重庆永川防汛救援现场指挥部获悉，截至25日15时30分，重庆永川特大暴雨已致9人死亡、11人失联。永川区已紧急避险转移2270人，当前抢险救灾工作仍在继续。
5月23日夜间至24日凌晨，重庆市永川区突发瞬时极端特大暴雨引发山洪和地质灾害，导致辖区茶山竹海街道、中山路街道、双石镇等多地出现散点式灾情。
