2017年，郑州首次启用新能源专用号牌，开头“豫AD”为纯电动新能源汽车，“豫AF”为插电式混合动力新能源汽车，均为绿牌。5月22日，记者注意到，近日“豫AE”新能源汽车号段启用，按照新能源车牌的排布规则，“豫AE”为纯电新能源号段号牌。
