根据中国证券监督管理委员会广东监管局在2026年5月22日发布的行政处罚决定书，廖某因违反证券法被责令改正并给予警告。
廖某在2022年6月24日至2023年4月18日期间，通过实际控制其配偶及母亲的证券账户，持有奥飞数据5%以上股份。2023年2月9日至3月13日期间，廖某通过其母亲的证券账户违规减持奥飞数据（300738）的股票，减持金额为8582万元，违法所得为422万元。
根据调查结果，广东证监局决定对廖某没收违法所得422万元，并处以600万元的罚款。
