以色列国防军方面5月3日通报称，当天早些时候其关于黎巴嫩真主党向边境城镇阿维维姆发射火箭弹的消息不属实。
以军在初步调查中发现，驻扎在黎巴嫩南部的以军部队实施的射击行动被误判为来袭威胁，随后启动拦截系统并发射拦截导弹，从而触发了阿维维姆地区的防空警报。（央视新闻）
