近日外媒InsiderGaming编辑Mike Straw发文透露，V社即将公布Steam Machine的价格和发售日期。
Straw表示：“我听说V社正在逐步确认各项细节，他们内部一直在讨论定价问题，以及是否愿意在短期内承担亏损。虽然现在可能还未做出最终决定，但内部普遍认为相关公告很快就会发布。”
去年V社公布了主机Steam Machine、VR头显Steam Frame以及手柄Steam Controller。近日V社宣布了Steam Controller上市日期和价格，该设备将于北京时间5月5日开售，售价99美元。
