北京时间4月22日，国际篮联官方宣布，2031年男篮世界杯将由法国主办，巴黎、里昂和里尔将成为主办城市。

国际篮联中央委员会已将2031年FIBA篮球世界杯的主办权授予法国。三座法国城市——里尔、里昂和巴黎——将在2031年8月29日至9月14日举办世界杯，决赛阶段将在巴黎进行。
