智能温室大棚里，科研人员精心管护自主培育的朱顶红新品种。
位于湖北荆门市的荆楚理工学院多年持续开展朱顶红种质资源研究，采用传统杂交育种结合分子标记辅助育种等技术，经多代选育出“霞辉”“彩霞”“红晖”3个品种。目前，这3个新品种已正式获国家植物新品种权证。
