北京时间4月12日，辛纳在蒙特卡洛大师赛决赛中2-0击败阿尔卡拉斯夺冠。在连夺四座大师赛冠军后，辛纳也确定会在下周重返世界第一的位置。
从去年的巴黎大师赛起，辛纳已经连续夺得了四座大师赛的冠军。而这四座大师赛夺冠的过程相当恐怖，辛纳仅仅在蒙特卡洛大师赛1/8决赛中面对马哈奇丢掉1盘，其他21场全部为2-0取胜。今年到现在他也只输掉了两场，分别是在澳网半决赛中2-3不敌德约科维奇，多哈站中1-2不敌门希克。
