比利时海洋工程承包商Jan De Nul集团已成功下水其第二艘新一代电缆铺设船（CLV）“威廉·汤姆森”号（William Thomson），以扩大其能力，支持不断增长的海上风电和电网互联项目。“威廉·汤姆森”号与其姊妹船“弗莱明·詹金”号（Fleeming Jenkin）是目前全球同类船舶中规模最大、运载能力最强的电缆铺设船。
