丰田汽车4月2日宣布，将采用一套新的销售系统在日本销售坦途皮卡和汉兰达SUV，这两款车型均产自丰田的美国工厂，车辆从4月2日起通过丰田移动东京公司进行销售，全国范围内的销售预计将于今年夏季开始。这套新系统允许美国制造的车辆无需经过日本特有的认证测试即可在日本销售。
