当地时间3月22日深夜，在美国纽约拉瓜迪亚机场国际机场，加拿大爵士航空公司代表加拿大航空公司运营的一架航班，降落时撞上一辆消防车，造成客机机长、副机长死亡，此外还有41人受伤。当地时间3月23日，事发时的监控画面被披露。美国联邦航空局称，拉瓜迪亚机场事发跑道将关闭至3月27日。
