据新京报报道，3月16日至18日，泰国国王哇集拉隆功与王后素提达对老挝进行为期三天的国事访问。 在此次出访中，泰国国王亲自驾机，王后担任副驾驶，于16日抵达老挝万象的瓦岱国际机场。 据了解，泰国国王具备飞行资质，曾接受过专业航空训练。2025年，泰国国王还曾与王后驾驶皇家飞机访问不丹并返回泰国。
