本周粤BA开打，被称为全国最强民间联赛的东莞市联赛（也称镇BA）也将同时打响。揭幕战时间确定，3月22日（本周日）下午，由去年男子甲级第四名长安对阵第六名松山湖。比赛地点在宏远主场东莞市篮球中心。4月初，东莞市联赛乙级和丙级也将全面开打。
3月22日可以说是东莞篮球的狂欢日，市联赛揭幕战结束，东莞男篮也将在3月22日晚的粤BA首轮客场挑战梅州。
