3月16日消息，据报道，日本正探讨恢复国产液化天然气（LNG）运输船。据悉，日本国内自从2019年以后再未建造LNG运输船。目前出现了今治造船利用大岛造船所部分生产基地的方案。成为恢复建造候选基地的是香烧工厂，该厂原本是三菱重工业公司的LNG运输船基地。
