近日，谷歌宣布重大更新，允许Google Play应用商店的移动开发者使用Google Play的结算系统或其他结算系统，从而免除5%的区域费率。除此之外，谷歌调整了Google Play应用商店的结算费用政策，将应用内购买（IAP）服务费抽成比例从30%降低至20%，参与“应用体验”计划的开发者则可降至15%。
