欧足联表示：“鉴于中东地区的局势，我们注意到外界对欧美杯举办地的种种猜测，我们正在与当地组织者进行磋商，他们为确保比赛成功举办付出了巨大努力。”
“预计下周末将做出最终决定，目前，我们没有考虑其他场地，在做出决定之前，我们将不再发表任何评论。”
