β-酮酯和重氮盐在碱或酸催化下制备腙的反应。此反应最早由Japp和Klingemann在1887年报道。此反应条件温和,反应液接近中性反应。研究发现,用醋酸钠预先处理强酸重氮盐,可大大提高反应收率。
