RBC BlueBay Asset Management的Mark Dowding在一份报告中称，英国国债投资者忽视了执政的工党在戈顿和登顿(Gorton and Denton)特别选举中的失利，因通胀下降的预期提振了市场情绪。他表示，对英国通胀减速的预期升温可能会改善英国政府的财政前景，原因是债务利息成本降低。Tradeweb数据显示，十年期英国国债收益率下跌1.3个基点，最新报4.266%，此前曾触及14.5个月低点4.255%。
