2月26日，香港粉岭坪峰附近突发山火，火线近百米。27日凌晨，总台记者在山火现场看到，大火已经扑灭。
香港消防处上水消防局出动了6辆消防车赴现场灭火。香港消防处于23时10分通报称，火情基本受控。据悉，香港警务处表示，警方于26日17时13分接到多人报案称，粉岭沙头角龙跃头段一带出现山火，警方暂未收到任何人员伤亡报告。
