唐山作为传统工业重镇，GDP总量连续多年领跑全省，但2025年的增量（446.3亿元）与名义增速（4.46%），略低于石家庄的448.3亿元、5.46%。保定（5002.5亿）、沧州（4930.9亿）、邯郸（4920.1亿）、廊坊（4040.5亿）组成第二梯队，增速分别达4.80%、4.41%、4.59%、3.48%，表现可圈可点。邢台（2800.8亿）、秦皇岛（2200.4亿）、衡水（2011.8亿）、承德（2001.7亿）、张家口（1970.7亿）则陷入“低速增长”泥沼：GDP名义增速均低于全省的3.74%，其中邢台 仅为1.26%。
