大年初三，民间称“赤口”，广州旧俗忌串门、避口角，宜宅家纳吉。广州博物馆藏红缎地绣和合二仙女袄，红缎映喜，二仙手持荷、盒，暗合“和合”祥瑞。二仙主婚姻美满、挚友相得，恰是化解“赤口”戾气的吉兆。新春睹仙容、着红袄，祈愿家中少纷争、多和睦，正所谓“家和万事兴”，和气满堂，福运自来。
