新华社武汉2月18日电（记者侯文坤）湖北省宜城市人民政府18日发布通报，18日14时24分，宜城市郑集镇千和烟花爆竹专营店发生爆燃，过火面积100余平方米，造成12人死亡。
据了解，事故发生后，应急、消防、公安、卫健等部门赶赴现场救援处置。截至15时30分，现场明火已扑灭。事故原因正在进一步调查中。（完）
