13日清晨大连多地出现大雾，并在7时许开始逐渐加大，大连各气象部门接连发布大雾橙色、红色预警，其中大连主城区预警等地的预警等级为橙色，长兴岛交流岛街道、金普新区大孤山街道预警等级为强浓雾级别的红色，意味着当地能见度将小于50米。
