当地时间2月12日，波兰电网公司在一份声明中宣布，“由于故障，波兰—瑞典电网暂时断开。”该公司强调，没有迹象表明此次停电是人为造成的。
波兰电网公司强调，与瑞典的连接故障不会影响系统的安全。目前正在准备修复受损部件。
