2月9日，由湖北交通投资集团有限公司投资建设，中建三局、中国铁建大桥局承建的荆州李埠长江公铁大桥北岸和南岸主塔先后完成封顶。此次封顶标志着该大桥建设正式迈入上部结构施工新阶段，为后续猫道及主缆架设奠定坚实基础。
