北京时间2月4日，海口亚洲杯小组循环赛第一轮，孙颖莎迎来复出首战，最终她3-0战胜叶伊恬，取得开门红。
本场比赛孙颖莎并没有遇到太大的困难，她三局以11-8、11-3、11-7的比分战胜了来自中国台北的选手叶伊恬，取得开门红。
这也是孙颖莎在WTT香港总决赛女单半决赛因伤退赛后的首场比赛，赛后接受采访时她也表示，脚踝伤势已经没有什么问题了。
