纪念牌上留缀"Beneath the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind."这一句出自2004年上映的电影《美丽心灵的永恒阳光》（Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind），其寓意为“澄明心域之上，永驻晴光”。
在图片上可以看到灯塔，长椅在面向灯塔的左边。
在冰岛想要建立公共纪念长椅并非易事，且其款项高昂，感谢这位不留名的良善者为于先生作出如此懿行。
