2月4日早间，长和在港交所公告，巴拿马最高法院已决定宣告1997年1月16日第5号法律、其修订及延展法案违宪。该法律批准巴拿马港口公司（PPC，公司间接持有90%权益）于巴尔博亚港及克里斯托瓦尔港已营运近三十年之特许经营合约。法院决定可能于2026年2月初生效。公司已对巴拿马共和国提起仲裁。董事会强烈反对该裁定，将继续咨询法律顾问，保留一切权利。
