西门子能源2月3日宣布，将投入10亿美元扩大美国本土制造产能，并大幅增加员工规模，该计划包含多项现有工厂扩建项目，将提升变压器生产与维修能力，并强化美国本土大型燃气轮机制造，同时将在密西西比州新建工厂，生产关键电网组件。西门子能源还将在制造、运营和工程领域创造1500多个高技能岗位。
