新华社华盛顿2月2日电（记者杨伶 熊茂伶）据美国《纽约时报》报道，美国前总统、民主党人克林顿及其妻子希拉里2日同意在国会众议院对爱泼斯坦案的调查中作证。
1月13日，克林顿夫妇拒绝前往国会众议院就该调查作证，并称针对他们的国会传票“非法”。众议院监督与政府改革委员会主席、共和党众议员詹姆斯·科默随后提出动议，寻求以藐视国会罪起诉克林顿夫妇。
