安徽医科大学研究团队在研究MicroRNA-449c-5p通过抑制PCSK9延缓血管钙化的课题中，使用BIOG血清血浆miRNA提取试剂成功提取冠状动脉钙化病患者血浆中的miRNA，并成功逆转录，通过qRT-PCR检测了miR-449c-5p的相对表达量，且进一步分析了CACS与miR-449c-5p表达量的相关性、评估了血浆miR-449c-5p相对表达量对冠脉钙化的诊断价值。
