近日，ESPN《Inside the NBA》天团选出了本赛季他们心目中全明星替补人选，奥尼尔和巴克利均未选择詹姆斯。
对此，奥尼尔解释道：“他是极少数真正被年龄拖慢脚步的球员，我不想看到国王打替补。我得给国王留点面子，他现在还像全明星吗？还是有点像全明星，但我不想看到国王沦落到打替补。”
詹姆斯本赛季场均可以得到22.4分6篮板6.7助攻。
