本田1月20日宣布，已决定2026年底前停止在其与通用汽车的合资企业Fuel Cell System Manufacturing LLC生产目前型号的燃料电池系统。停产后，本田将使用其自主研发的下一代燃料电池系统，并将拓展业务机会以发展氢能业务。
