新华社悉尼1月17日电（记者李晓渝）澳大利亚新南威尔士州17日遭遇强风和强降雨等恶劣天气，造成1人死亡、1人受伤。
据澳大利亚广播公司报道，当天下午，一辆汽车在伍伦贡市以南高速公路行驶时被树枝砸中，造成驾驶员当场死亡，一名乘客受轻伤。
澳大利亚气象局已就新南威尔士州的强雷暴、强降雨和强风等恶劣天气发出多项预警。（完）
