1月13日，国家卫健委举行新闻发布会，介绍时令节气与健康（小寒、大寒）有关情况。四川大学华西医院主任医师万智表示，流鼻血仰头的做法是错误的，仰头可能会导致血液倒流呛入气管或者刺激胃部引发呕吐。她介绍，正确的做法应该是在鼻出血时低头微微前倾，同时用拇指和食指捏住鼻翼，持续按压5到10分钟。
