1月11日，湖北武穴市有网民反映一水泥厂厂区发生传送带设备垮塌事件。
12日，武穴市应急管理局工作人员称，事发后已派员赴现场核查，确认系设备故障导致垮塌，目前事件正在处理中，未造成人员伤亡，并强调将妥善处置此事。
