北京时间1月6日，国际米兰官方宣布，他们的队长劳塔罗-马丁内斯当选球队12月最佳球员。
国米12月一共进行了包括意大利杯、意甲、欧冠以及意大利超级杯在内的6场正式比赛，总成绩为4胜2负，其中劳塔罗代表国米出场5次，贡献了3粒进球和1次助攻。
最终在国米12月队内最佳球员的评选中，劳塔罗击败了皮奥-埃斯波西托、阿坎吉以及泽林斯基成功当选。
