北京时间1月2日，法拉利F1车队官方宣布，中国车手周冠宇不再担任车队储备车手一职。随后，周冠宇在个人社交媒体向车队表示了感谢。
周冠宇说：“这一年很开心，感谢车队对我的认可与信任，围场见！”
此前在接受采访时，周冠宇表示自己未来的目标依旧是留在围场。
