新华社东京12月31日电（记者李子越 陈泽安）据日本气象厅消息，日本岩手县东部海域12月31日发生5.7级地震。
气象厅说，地震发生于当地时间12月31日23时27分（北京时间12月31日22时27分）左右，震中位于北纬40.1度、东经142.9度，震源深度约30千米，震级为5.7级。
气象厅判断此次地震不会引发海啸灾害。（完）
