12月26日，全长324.7公里的G0711乌鲁木齐至尉犁高速公路通车。其中天山胜利隧道创造了世界最长高速公路的隧道、高速公路竖井深度世界第一两项世界纪录。这条连通新疆南北的交通大通道，将极大便利当地人员往来和物流畅通。通车后，乌鲁木齐市至库尔勒市驾车时长由此前的7小时缩短至3.5小时。
