On the junior golf circuit, Tang Xiaotang has long been a standout star – she is a two-time consecutive champion of the Girls' Group B at the Junior Golf Championship, secured the top spot in the China Golf Association’s 2024 Junior Girls' Group B rankings, and even earned a spot in the National Youth Training Team through her outstanding skills.

Behind her over 20 championship trophies lies her deep passion for golf, as well as the meticulous full-cycle support from Sendelta International Arts and Sports Center, enabling her to shine brightly while advancing steadily on her dream journey.

唐小唐与高尔夫的缘分，始于表姐送的一套迷你球杆。四五岁时，她在家把玩这套“玩具”，只觉得新鲜有趣；

直到7岁，表姐邀请她去自家开的天津高尔夫练习场体验，她才真正接触到这项运动。“一开始没特别感兴趣，但下场打比赛后，就彻底爱上了。”唐小唐笑着回忆。

赛场的竞技魅力，让这份热爱愈发炽热。2023年阳江涛景的夜巡赛，至今是她最难忘的经历——只剩9洞时，她还落后7杆，周围人都觉得翻盘无望，但这个年少的姑娘没有慌。

她沉下心，像自己最欣赏的球手内莉·科达那样，保持着冷静稳定的心态，精准分析每一个球的落点、风向，凭借出色的推杆技术步步追赶，最终以反超9杆的惊人表现逆风翻盘，成功夺冠。

“内莉·科达不仅球技好，学习优秀，更在赛场上始终温柔沉稳，她的推杆技术和心态都是我一直学习的目标。”这份对偶像的向往，让唐小唐在赛场上逐渐养成了沉稳坚韧、临危不乱的特质，也让她在高尔夫之路上走得更稳、更远。

Kathy’s golf journey began with a set of mini clubs gifted by her cousin. As a 4- or 5-year-old, she played with them at home just for fun. It wasn’t until she was 7, when her cousin invited her to experience a golf driving range in Tianjin, that she truly got into the sport. "I wasn’t that interested at first, but I fell completely in love after playing in an on-course tournament," Kathy recalled with a smile.

The competitive charm of the course fueled her passion further. The 2023 Night Tour at Yangjiang Taojing remains her most unforgettable experience: trailing by 7 strokes with only 9 holes left, everyone thought a comeback was impossible, but the young girl stayed calm. Channeling her idol Nelly Korda, she maintained a steady mindset, accurately analyzed each shot’s landing spot and wind direction, and staged a stunning 9-stroke comeback to win the title with excellent putting skills.

"Nelly Korda isn’t just a great golfer with top academic performance; she’s also gentle and composed on the course. Her putting technique and mentality are what I’ve been striving to learn," Kathy said. This admiration for her idol has helped her develop a calm and resilient demeanor, keeping her steady and focused on her golf path.

For Kathy, golf has become more than a sport—it’s her "spiritual refuge." "Playing golf has made me happier and more outgoing, keeping me energetic every day since I practice almost daily," she said. Surprisingly, it also creates a positive synergy with her studies.

Many think golf is just a test of physical strength and skill, but it actually requires math to calculate distances and landing spots precisely, Chinese to fully understand rules and strategies, and a rigorous, focused attitude toward learning to master it.

Sendelta’s classrooms bridge knowledge and sports: math lessons on geometric calculations and data analysis help her quickly predict ball trajectories and control putting strength on the course; Chinese classes on logical reasoning and text interpretation let her grasp tournament rules in detail, making her tactics more structured and forward-thinking; science lessons on mechanics and meteorology provide professional insights for analyzing ball paths and wind directions.

"It’s an extremely challenging sport—the deeper I get into it, the more fun I find. And this challenge has clearly boosted my learning abilities," Kathy noted.

She’s also drawn to the thrill of golf. "Most tournaments aren’t smooth-sailing; there are always sudden shifts in the score gap. This uncertainty makes every swing full of anticipation," she said. Being outdoors with nature and pushing her limits in competition, this passion has become an invaluable part of her life and growth.

Today, from local to national tournaments, from a "rookie" to a "national youth training team member," her over 20 championship trophies are the best proof of her growth.
