如今任命的右羽林军大将军、上柱国、河东郡开国公、凉州镇军大总管薛讷，将门世家，国朝重臣，智慧如泉涌，气概如雷霆。在朝堂之上，他宽厚而谋略深远；在战阵之间，他英勇而毫不退缩。
