12月17日，记者从自然资源部中国地质调查局获悉，由中国地质科学院科研人员发现并申请的新矿物——镍铋锑砷硫化物获得正式批准，中文名定为金秀矿。金秀矿发现于我国广西壮族自治区金秀瑶族自治县龙华镍钴矿床中，它的发现，对热液镍钴矿床的成因研究和指导找矿突破具有重大意义。
