在小区投毒致9条狗死亡，男子获刑4年！

据央视新闻消息，北京宠物犬中毒刑事公诉案今天（12月11日）在北京市朝阳区人民法院一审宣判。被告人张某华构成投放危险物质罪，被判处有期徒刑4年。张某华当庭提出上诉。

据悉，被告人张某华在小区公共区域投毒，导致9条犬只被毒死，包括宠物犬。该案是北京首例宠物中毒刑事公诉案，2023年10月26日开庭审理，后历经九次延审。

A man surnamed Zhang, who poisoned public areas in a residential community, resulting in the death of nine dogs, was sentenced to four years in prison by a Beijing court on Thursday.

The Chaoyang District People's Court convicted him of using hazardous substances and announced the sentence, though he said he would appeal to a higher court.

This was the first pet-related criminal case in Beijing.

爱犬被毒死后，主人辞职追凶3年

被害犬只西高地犬Papi的主人李女士称，本案中，包括她在内共有11名被害犬只的主人作为被害人提起了刑事附带民事诉讼，无一人谅解。

李女士失去养了13年的Papi后，辞职自学法律，为“爱犬”追凶。

In September 2022, 11 dogs were poisoned in a residential community in Chaoyang, with nine succumbing to the toxic substance. One of the victims was a 13-year-old West Highland white terrier owned by a woman surnamed Li. Following the tragic incident, Li was devastated and even resigned from her job to seek justice for her beloved dog, according to Red Star News.

李女士称，“从我20多岁到30多岁，这只狗狗陪伴我走过了我人生中最重要的十几年。它是我的至亲至爱，是一个精神支柱。”无论判决结果如何，这件事没有“胜利”可言：“我真正的诉求是希望我的小狗回到我身边，但已经不可能了。”

Li told the news outlet that from her twenties to thirties, the dog accompanied her through the most important years of her life. "It was my closest and dearest companion, a pillar of emotional support," she said.

西高地犬Papi

另一被害宠物犬主人称，养了黄黄12年多，自己84岁母亲因为宠物犬黄黄的陪伴，老年痴呆病程进展缓慢。黄黄去世后，老人已经完全不认人了，就记得黄黄。

李女士通过办案人员了解到，涉案的毒药是氟乙酸钠。据公开资料，氟乙酸钠是一种剧毒化合物，也是灭鼠药的主要成分。其毒性强、药力发作快，我国已经明令禁产和禁用。人口服中毒死亡率极高，宠物嗅闻、舔到就可能死亡。

The substance used was sodium fluoroacetate, an extremely toxic compound and a primary ingredient in rodenticides. It is known for its high toxicity and rapid effects. Ingesting even a small amount can be fatal to both humans and pets, resulting in death from merely sniffing or licking it.

据极目新闻报道，庭审当天，有爱宠人士制作了宠物狗合影牌子赶到现场，牌子上写着“Papi妈妈，谢谢你的坚持！！！”上面还签了20多个宠物的名字。
