财联社12月10日电，日本佳能公司据称正在就向Rapidus公司出资一事进行最终协调，出资规模预计将达数十亿日元。业务范围也包含半导体制造设备的佳能将作为供应链中的一环，通过出资的方式，助力2027下半年度量产计划的实现。此外还获悉，软银也有意追加出资。
