当地时间9日，暴雨引发的洪水席卷了伊拉克库尔德自治区苏莱曼尼亚省，造成该省恰姆恰马勒地区至少2人死亡，4人受伤。另外，洪水导致苏莱曼尼亚省许多地区街道被淹，房屋被毁。当地政府部门称，还有两名儿童在洪水中失踪。
