当地时间12月7日，韩国总统办公室政策室长金容范表示，作为应对韩元疲软的措施之一，韩国正在审查散户投资者海外投资活动中是否存在过度隐匿风险的情况。金容范称，政府还在审查私营企业的海外利润转移情况，以及国民年金公团的海外投资，包括资产配置和外汇对冲操作。他表示，政府已准备好采取“适当”措施应对押注韩元贬值的行为。
