当地时间12月1日，美国贸易代表办公室宣布美英两国就药品定价达成原则性协议。
美国贸易代表办公室表示，协议要求英国国民医疗服务体系（NHS）将新药净价提高25%，该协议也确保了英国制药公司继续在美国投资。
美国已同意对原产于英国的药品、药品原料及医疗技术豁免232条款关税，并在特朗普总统任期内不对英国药品定价行为启动“301调查”。
